Job summary

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using industry-standard software.
• Prepare drainage reports, calculations, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with WisDOT, municipalities, and regulatory agencies throughout project development.
• Support erosion control, stormwater management, and permitting efforts.
• Collaborate with roadway, traffic, and structural engineering teams on transportation projects.
• Assist with project management, client communication, and technical mentoring as experience increases.

Our client is seeking a Transportation Drainage Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects across Wisconsin. This role will focus heavily on WisDOT roadway and highway projects, including stormwater management, drainage design, hydraulic modeling, and permitting efforts.
