Job summary

POM Wonderful is seeking a Transportation Operations support role in Del Rey, CA to manage day-to-day activities and interact with internal and external customers. The base compensation is $21 per hour, with duties spanning dispatching, end-to-end transport, and collaboration with sales and shipping teams.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and 1–2 years of experience, strong communication, and familiarity with Oracle WMS/OTM systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-2 years’ experience preferred.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Excellent communication across levels of the organization.
• Advanced computer skills; Oracle WMS/OTM preferred.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch loads to carriers and brokers.
• Oversee transportation from shipping docks to final location.
• Monitor driver issues, accidents, safety concerns, or weather.
• Collaborate with sales, shipping, claims to solve transport issues.
• Work with Transportation team and Customer Service.
• Ensure trucks check-in and pickup numbers.
• Participate in Carrier Scorecarding.
• Assist team to achieve key performance metrics.
