WSP USA is seeking a Transportation Director/Local Business Lead for the Arizona office in Tempe. This leadership role drives the transportation practice in the Mountain Pacific Region, guiding business development and client relations for the Arizona office and coordinating with Tucson.

The role collaborates across WSP lines to deliver integrated client solutions. The position emphasizes strategic leadership, growth, and external engagement with public agencies and industry events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in the A/E/C industry with a strong focus in transportation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Planning, Business, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership, accountability, persistence, and growth.
• Ability to innovate and re-think client and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape transportation practice growth in the Mountain Pacific Region.
• Act as the local face of WSP for Arizona and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Direct and oversee business development and client relations for the Arizona office (Tempe) and Tucson.
• Coordinate with regional leaders to drive sales, KPI performance, and project delivery.
• Foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
• Maintain compliance with WSP’s Code of Conduct and safety policies.
