WSB invites you to join the Transportation Design Internship Program for Summer 2027. You will work alongside engineers and project teams to design and deliver transportation infrastructure, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship in a collaborative setting.

We seek students pursuing Civil or Transportation Engineering, entering junior or senior year, with interest in roadway design, traffic engineering, and related disciplines.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
• Entering junior or senior year during the internship.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and preparation of transportation project plans.
• Support engineers with design calculations and analyses.
• Prepare reports, specifications, permit applications, and other docs.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Participate in meetings, site visits, and data collection.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer in projects.
• Contribute to development of safe, efficient transportation systems.
