Job summary

Stanley Consultants in Denver, CO is seeking a Student Intern to join the Transportation Market. You will work on general civil engineering tasks, gaining hands-on experience in drainage design, highway and intersection design, and site design for local, national, and international projects.

You will perform transportation design and drafting using Microstation and AutoCAD, collaborate with task leads, and contribute to high-quality design documents.

Qualifications

• Must be a college Sophomore and actively enrolled in a four-year college or university.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Local to the Denver, CO area.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microstation or AutoCAD software is preferred.
• Previous experience with engineering design and analysis software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transportation-related design and drafting tasks using Microstation and/or AutoCAD.
• Work closely with task leads, designers, and design teams to solve engineering problems and produce high quality design documents.
• Occasional field-related tasks.
• Preparation and checking of design computations and quantity estimates.
