Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects’ Springfield office is seeking a Civil PE with experience in transportation infrastructure, including streets, highways, and interstates.

You will perform roadway design and modeling using Microstation/OpenRoads, lead project tasks, and collaborate with engineers, designers, and subconsultants on projects primarily in Missouri and Kansas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Kansas PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 4–7 years’ experience designing streets/highways per regulations.
• Ability to work with engineers and technicians.
• Background in traffic engineering design is helpful.
• Experience in CAD utilizing Microstation.

Responsibilities

Roles And Responsibilities

• Perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Microstation/OpenRoads.
• Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes
• Work with experienced designers and project managers as well as collaborating with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects
• Primarily working on projects in Missouri and Kansas with opportunities to support regional projects,
• Efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Kansas Professional Engineer licensed or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 4 - 7 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations.
• Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
• A background in traffic engineering design can be helpful in this role
• Experience in CADD utilizing Microstation.

Annual Salary range: $79,000 - $135,000
