Job summary

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is seeking an Engineer I to join our transportation design group. You will contribute to design and plan production for roadway, rail, and trail projects and gain exposure to hydraulics, structures, and construction oversight within the first year.

You’ll collaborate with project teams, perform analyses, and prepare documents using MicroStation or AutoCAD while maintaining quality standards. A bachelor’s in civil/transportation engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• FE/EI certification a plus.
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record required.

Responsibilities

• Works on the design and plan production for various transportation engineering projects under the direction of a Project Manager.
• Assists in data collection, technical analyses, and written documentation with supervision.
• Assists in client contact and participation in presentations in a supporting role.
• Uses computer aided engineering (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD) design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Responsible for job specific quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual.
