Qualifications

• Capable of learning new technology applications.
• Logistics / Transportation experience preferred.
• Work experience in a call center, store operations, customer service environment required.
• Use of a variety of communication methods, including phone, email, live chat, according to Bealls standards.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must handle conflict resolution calmly and effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer all store and carrier communications in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate store and carrier issues to the Transportation Manager.
• Answer phone calls, customer emails and live customer chats.
• Send stores weekly delivery schedules.
• Problem solve delivery issues and communicate updates to the stores and carriers.
• Work with DC Operations concerning loading to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track carrier on-time delivery and service failures.
• Update KPI’s and other transportation reports.
• Routing and planning loads as required using a Transportation Management System.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
