Publix Super Markets is seeking a Distribution/Transportation professional to monitor inbound loads and communicate proactive updates to prevent missed due dates. You will coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, and plants to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective operations.

The role requires strong analytical and Microsoft Office skills, the ability to work weekends, and the capacity to handle fast-paced environments within Publix facilities in Lakeland, FL.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year of experience in Distribution, Transportation, or an analytical field.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Able to work extended periods.
• Pass clerical & Microsoft skills tests before start date.
• Detail oriented and able to handle change.
• Capable of handling stressful situations professionally.
• Able to multitask and prioritize.
• Able to negotiate and work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor inbound load delivery status and flag jeopardy of due dates.
• Communicate updates on inbound purchase orders to enable mitigation planning.
• Maximize on-time deliveries by coordinating with warehouse, suppliers, and plants.
• Track seasonal and high-sensitivity items and expedited transfers.
• Monitor delays at shipping/receiving to minimize cost and ensure carrier compensation.
