Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward to lead the definition, alignment, and reuse of data across the Transportation Business Group. This embedded leadership role focuses on enabling better decisions, data reuse, and consistent data definitions across disciplines and service lines.

As a senior leader, you will coordinate SMEs, drive data standards, and collaborate with the Technology Director to align workflows. This in-office role can be based in any HDR office in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of strategic leadership experience.
• At least 15 years of overall experience providing data-centric solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define how data practices are established, aligned, and sustained across the Transportation Business Group.
• Coordinate with SME expertise to define technical standards and enterprise alignment.
• Promote consistency and reusability of data across projects and time.
• Lead change management to drive adoption of data standards, practices, and tools.
• Report to the Transportation Technology Director and collaborate with enterprise data teams.
