Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward to define how data is captured, stored, and reused across the Transportation Business Group. This leadership role coordinates SMEs and tech authorities to enable consistent data definitions and higher quality analytics.

You will drive adoption of data standards, align workflows with strategy, and empower delivery teams to reuse data confidently across projects and time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum 10 years in Resources engineering.
• 10+ years of leadership, change management and team development.
• Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.
• Ability to work with senior leaders and managers.

Responsibilities

• Define technical standards and data practices across the Transportation Business Group.
• Develop business-aligned data definitions to support models, reporting, automation, and AI.
• Coordinate with SMEs to align data workflows and initiatives.
• Promote responsible data use, data quality, and data reuse.
• Govern externally sourced datasets and manage data lifecycle.
• Promote data fluency across Transportation BG and teams.
• Lead change management to adopt standards, practices, and tools.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Stewards and Data Ops teams.
