Job summary

Vitality Living Hudson is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to drive community vehicles on scheduled trips and ensure safe, compliant operation for residents and guests. The role involves vehicle safety, documentation of incidents, and maintaining vehicle readiness at our Hudson, FL location.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, a valid license with a clean record, CDL may be required for larger vehicles, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean record meeting company standards.
• Commercial driver's license (CDL) designation may be required if driving vehicles with >15 passengers.
• Working knowledge of motor vehicle safety precautions.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Drive community vehicles to social and other destinations per schedule.
• Practice safe driving and follow state vehicle operation guidelines.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs and ensure safe restraint.
• Document vehicle damages and accidents.
• Clean interiors/exterior and maintain fuel levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Drives vehicle from community to social and other destinations according to assigned schedule
• Practices safe driving techniques, adheres to posted speed limits, and follows state guidelines for motor vehicle operation at all times
• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip
• Documents all damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, natural wear and tear, etc.
• Cleans interior and exterior of vehicle after each outing and ensures adequate fuel levels
• Perform other duties as assigned
