Job summary

Vitality Living in Hudson, FL is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to drive community trips, ensure passenger safety, and maintain vehicle care. You will document incidents, secure mobility devices, and follow all safety rules.

A CDL may be required for larger passenger capacity, along with CPR/First Aid certification. The role is full-time and offers benefits such as health coverage, PTO, attendance bonuses, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean record meeting company insurance standards.
• CDL designation may be required for vehicles with >15 passengers.
• Working knowledge of motor vehicle safety precautions and safety measures.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicle from community to social and other destinations per schedule.
• Practices safe driving techniques and follows state guidelines for motor vehicle operation.
• Secures wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize during trips.
• Documents damages to company vehicles, including accidents and wear.
• Cleans interior and exterior of vehicle after outings and maintains fuel levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip
• Documents all damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, natural wear and tear, etc.
• Cleans interior and exterior of vehicle after each outing and ensures adequate fuel levels
• Perform other duties as assigned
