Job summary

Vitality Living Hendersonville, TN is seeking a Transportation Coordinator for our Hendersonville community. You will drive residents to social and other activities, practice safe driving, and help ensure the smooth operation of all community transport services.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, a clean driving record, and a valid driver's license (CDL may be required for larger vehicles). CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• CDL designation may be required if driving vehicles with capacity greater than 15 passengers.
• Working knowledge of motor vehicle safety precautions and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicle from community to social and other destinations according to assigned schedule.
• Practices safe driving techniques, adheres to posted speed limits, and follows state guidelines for motor vehicle operation at all times.
• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Documents all damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, wear and tear, etc.
• Cleans interior and exterior of vehicle after each outing and ensures adequate fuel levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned
