Responsibilities

• Drive vehicle from community to social and other destinations according to assignment schedule.
• Practice safe driving techniques, adhere to posted speed limits, and follow state guidelines for motor vehicle operation.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize during trip.
• Document all damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, and natural wear and tear.
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicle after each outing and ensure adequate fuel levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean record that meets company insurance standards.
• Commercial driver's license (CDL) designation may be required if driving vehicles with a capacity of more than 15 passengers.
• Working knowledge of all motor vehicle safety precautions and ability to comply with safety measures.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
