Job summary

Crestwood Champion Healing Center in Lompoc, CA, is seeking a Transportation Coordinator/Driver to support staff and clients with appointments, activities, and admissions/discharges. You will manage vehicle use, maintain a clean driving record, and work with a diverse team.

This full-time role offers benefits and growth opportunities. A valid California driver’s license and high school diploma are required; prior driving experience in care settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older required.
• Valid California driver’s license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to work with staff and adults served.
• Self-directed but able to follow directions.
• Ability to create and follow a vehicle-use schedule.
• One year of driver experience in a long-term care facility or hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide driving services for staff and persons served to appointments and activities.
• Run errands and assist with admissions/discharges as needed.
• Maintain vehicle scheduling and ensure safety and timely transportation.

Title: Transportation Coordinator | Driver

Job Duties: The Transportation Coordinator or driver provides facility staff with driving services such as driving staff and persons served to doctors' appointments and recreational activities, running errands, and picking up and transporting admission/ discharge persons served. This position requires the ability and desire to work with a diverse group of individuals in a respectful and professional manner.

Schedule :

Full-Time: AM

Qualifications :

• A high school diploma/GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Good driving ability and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work well with other staff and adult persons served.
• Self-directed but also able to take directions and carry out tasks.
• Ability to create and carry out a schedule for vehicle use.
• One year of experience as a driver for a long-term care facility, hospital, or community-based program is preferred.
• A valid California driver's license.
