As Transportation Coordinator, you’ll drive communities to events, ensure safety, secure wheelchairs, document vehicle conditions, and keep vehicles clean. This role emphasizes reliable, safety‑minded service and teamwork at Traditions of Smyrna.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record that meets company insurance standards.
• CDL designation may be required for vehicles with more than 15 passengers.
• Working knowledge of motor vehicle safety precautions and safety compliance.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive community vehicle to social and other destinations per schedule.
• Follow safety guidelines and state vehicle operation rules.
• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraints during trips.
• Document vehicle damages (accidents, dents, wear).
• Clean vehicle interior/exterior and ensure fuel levels are adequate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Transportation Coordinator

• Drives vehicle from community to social and other destinations according to assigned schedule
• Practices safe driving techniques, adheres to posted speed limits, and follows state guidelines for motor vehicle operation at all times
• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip
• Documents all damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, natural wear and tear, etc.
• Cleans interior and exterior of vehicle after each outing and ensures adequate fuel levels
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid driver's license with clean record that meets company insurance standards
• Commercial driver's license (CDL) designation may be required if driving vehicles with a capacity of more than 15 passengers
• Working knowledge of all motor vehicle safety precautions and comply with safety measures
• CPR/First Aid certification
