The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the Transportation department, focusing on reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities
  1. Ensure efficient and economical transportation of Mercury Marine products to/from Brunswick Marine in EMEA locations or direct shipments from suppliers to international customers, complying with policies and customs laws.
  2. Analyze requests, develop cost-effective shipping plans, and recommend optimal solutions for marketing events.
  3. Manage reception and administrative control of goods entering our site by sea, air, and land.
  4. Handle shipping, billing, and follow-up for all products to Distributors and Dealers.
  5. Establish operations and calculations for customs clearance of all import and export shipments.
  6. Draft transport documents such as shipping instructions, certificates, and CMR, ensuring smooth document flow for timely deliveries in an international environment.
  7. Verify and amend letters of credit, ensuring all paperwork complies with bank requirements.
  8. Complete Dangerous Goods declarations following ADR, IMDG, and other regulations.
  9. Facilitate communication among all parties to ensure optimal information flow.
  10. Track shipments, resolve issues, and communicate updates promptly.
  11. Respond to internal inquiries about rates and freight quotes.
  12. Coordinate with freight forwarders to align shipping routes with processes.
  13. Organize weekly shipment planning and coordinate with involved departments.
  14. Control and approve incoming freight invoices.
The Candidate
Qualifications/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification
  • 1-3 years’ experience in international trade, customs, or transportation/logistics
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Advanced business English skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Proactive and organized
  • Precise and conscientious
Our Offer

This position is classified as Global Grade 7, with a salary range of €35,000 to €50,000, paid in 13.92 installments. Actual salary depends on skills, experience, and location. Benefits include:
