Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Coordinator - CNA/EMT for a full-time, day shift position at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. This role involves coordinating transportation for residents, maintaining vehicles, and ensuring smooth communication with medical providers.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all aspects of transporting residents.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all facility vehicles.
  • Represent the facility professionally with medical providers.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain related logs.
  • Oversee routine vehicle maintenance and establish schedules.
  • Maintain positive relationships with community and healthcare facilities.
  • Transport specimens and items to hospitals or clinics as needed.
  • Assist with purchasing from local suppliers.
Requirements
  • Valid NC Driver’s License with an appropriate driving record.
  • Age 21 or older, of good moral character, with a concern for the elderly and disabled.
  • Current registration with DFS as a Nursing Assistant or EMT in North Carolina.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and follow up on work.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and be flexible.
  • Transportation experience preferred.
