Job summary

Matrix, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Coordinator for an on-site contract role in Indiana. You will manage shipping schedules, coordinate logistics across supply chain facilities, and secure carrier capacity while ensuring on-time delivery.

Strong ERP and MS Office skills are essential, with 1–2 years in transportation or logistics and experience in CPG or food-services industries. You will work with 3PL partners and campus managers, maintain data in SAP/WMS/TMS, monitor KPIs, and support SOX

Qualifications

• Experience in Fortune 500 settings is required.
• Strong MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience in transportation or logistics field (1–2 years) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping schedules, dock appointments, carrier communications, and route execution for facilities.
• Route daily orders, secure carrier capacity, and track shipments for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound appointments, manage dock capacity with 3PLs and campus managers, troubleshoot at-risk loads.
• Maintain data integrity in SAP, WMS, and TMS, track KPIs, and ensure SOX compliance.
• Partner with bottling networks, co-packers, and manufacturing teams to resolve scheduling issues.

• Previous experience performing the same type of role at a Fortune 500 company.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or the food-services industry relevant to the role.
• 1-2 years' experience in transportation or logistics-related field.
• Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• SAP, WMS, TMS experience.
• Strong communication skills, including good verbal, written, and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping schedules, dock appointments, carrier communications, and route execution for warehouse mixing centers and supply chain facilities.
• Route daily orders using company guidelines, secure carrier capacity, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound appointments, manage dock capacity with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and campus managers, and troubleshoot at-risk loads.
• Maintain data integrity in systems like SAP, WMS, and TMS, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
• Partner with bottling networks, co-packers, manufacturing teams, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to resolve scheduling issues.
