AltaMed is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to plan and coordinate daily transportation for PACE participants. You will work closely with the transportation clerk, dispatcher and driver to schedule services efficiently and safely.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of program coordination experience, healthcare exposure and a valid BLS certification. Bilingual abilities are preferred depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience coordinating a program.
• Experience in health care or geriatrics setting preferred.
• Electronic Health Records experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred depending on location.
• Valid BLS certification or higher required per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

The transportation coordinator plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily transportation services of AltaMed PACE participants. The Transportation Coordinator works closely with the Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver in scheduling and coordinating the transportation needs of PACE participants.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in coordinating a program.
• Experience working in the health care field and/or geriatrics setting required.
• Electronic Health Records preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$25.75 - $32.19 hourly
