Job summary

AltaMed is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to plan, organize, and coordinate daily transportation services for PACE participants. You will work with the Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver to schedule transportation efficiently and ensure participant needs are met.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of program coordination experience, health care/geriatrics exposure, and BLS at minimum. Travel and bilingual skills may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-year experience coordinating a program.
• Experience in health care or geriatrics setting.
• Electronic Health Records preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location.
• Valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily transportation services for AltaMed PACE participants.
• Coordinate transportation needs with the Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver.
• Schedule transportation and ensure timely service for participants.

Job Overview

The transportation coordinator plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily transportation services of AltaMed PACE participants. The Transportation Coordinator works closely with the Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver in scheduling and coordinating the transportation needs of PACE participants.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required.




• Minimum 1-year experience in coordinating a program.




• Experience working in the health care field and/or geriatrics setting required.




• Electronic Health Records preferred.




• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.




• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$25.75 - $32.19 hourly
