Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to plan and coordinate the daily transportation services for PACE participants. You will work closely with the transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver to schedule needs and ensure timely transport.

This role may require bilingual communication depending on location. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of coordinating a program, health care/geriatric experience, EHR familiarity preferred,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience coordinating a program.
• Experience in health care and/or geriatrics preferred.
• BLS certification or higher required per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily transportation services for AltaMed PACE participants.
• Collaborate with Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver to schedule needs.
• Ensure efficient routing and on-time transport for participants.

Job Overview

The transportation coordinator plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily transportation services of AltaMed PACE participants. The Transportation Coordinator works closely with the Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver in scheduling and coordinating the transportation needs of PACE participants.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in coordinating a program.
• Experience working in the health care field and/or geriatrics setting required.
• Electronic Health Records preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$25.75 - $32.19 hourly

Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
