Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP has an immediate Richmond-area opening for a Transportation Construction Manager to lead inspection staff on VDOT and local government projects. The role requires significant roadway/bridge construction experience and the ability to read plans and supervise QA/QC, with oversight of schedules and contract compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of ten (10) years of field construction and management experience in roadway/bridge projects.

Aufgaben

• Construction management of staff across a region and lead inspection teams.
• Interpret plans and specifications and enforce QA/QC requirements.
• Coordinate meetings and manage field inspections and documentation.
• Review contractor schedules including CPM and progress updates.
• Communicate with Engineer, Owner and field staff on project status.
• Oversee project safety and staff training.
