Description

Fisher Associates is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors for PennDOT, PA Turnpike projects, and municipal highway and bridge projects throughout Districts 1, 9, 10, 11 & 12.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections to verify construction activities comply with plans, specifications, and codes.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, including reports and photographs.
• Communicate inspection results and issues with contractors and project team members.
• Ensure construction materials and workmanship meet standards.
• Monitor safety protocols and address hazards or violations.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth project progress.

Minimum Requirements

• NICET Certification or equivalent experience recognized by PennDOT.
• Preferred certifications: PennDOT Concrete Certification, NECEPT Asphalt Certification.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate construction sites.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including dust, noise, and weather-related challenges.
