Transportation Construction Inspector - Rockford, IL

Oneida Engineering Solutions has an immediate opening for a Transportation Construction Inspector in northwestern Illinois. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work on current and future IDOT, Illinois Tollway or other local agency roadway and bridge construction projects. This full-time position will be responsible for construction inspection, materials documentation, field measurements, daily diary entries, and final construction documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Construction inspection experience working with Illinois Tollway, Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), or other state DOT.
• Valid driver's license
• Proficient oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities Certification
• Experience using Civil 3D, AutoCAD or MicroStation
• Established relationships with IDOT consultants and staff
• Experience working with Microsoft 365

Compensation Range:

$28-43/Hour
