Position Details

Oneida Engineering Solutions has an immediate opening for a Transportation Construction Inspector in northwestern Illinois. The role involves working on IDOT, Illinois Tollway, or other local agency roadway and bridge construction projects. Responsibilities include construction inspection, materials documentation, field measurements, daily diary entries, and final construction documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Construction inspection experience with Illinois Tollway, IDOT, or other state DOT.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities Certification.
• Experience using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
• Established relationships with IDOT consultants and staff.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.

Compensation Range

$28.00/hr - $43.00/hr
