Our Pittsburgh Construction Management Team is seeking inspectors for PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike assignments. This position does not qualify for employer-sponsored visas, except for TN visa classification.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance with legal requirements and safety regulations.
• Perform routine tests on concrete, soils, and other materials.
• Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, elevation of structures, fixtures, grades, and pavement to ensure compliance with plans and codes.
• Gather and maintain record documents.
• Make field notes and perform computations.

Non-essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Active driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Must pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (may be substituted with experience).
• 1-4 years of construction inspection experience.
