Job summary

Qualifications

• Civil engineer trainee program completion or equivalent experience.
• Four or five years of civil engineering experience with relevant credentials.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• PA residency requirement is waived for this title.

Responsibilities

• Develop roadway alignments using engineering software and apply geometric design standards.
• Review LGTS submissions for roadway geometry, drainage, and guiderail accuracy.
• Verify plots, easements, and limits to meet design policies and boundaries.
• Analyze deed descriptions and verify property line accuracy in CADD systems.
• Evaluate consultant proposals for survey-related work and recommend actions.
• Identify early design or drainage issues to prevent project delays.
