Job summary

Parametrix in Boise, ID is seeking a Transportation Civil Engineer I to join our transportation design team. This role supports roadway and multimodal projects for state DOTs and local municipalities, with a hybrid schedule in the Boise office (2-3 days/week).

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Transportation Civil Engineer I to join our team in support of transportation design. This position will join our Boise, Idaho office. This position will work a hybrid scheduling coming into the office 2-3 days per week for team and client collaboration, mentorship and integration.

Your Role on the Team:

• Support the design, and delivery of roadway and multimodal transportation projects for state DOTs and local municipalities.
• Prepare and assist with roadway design elements including horizontal and vertical alignments, typical sections, drainage, traffic control, and ADA‑compliant facilities.
• Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to support project schedules, quality control, and client deliverables.

What You Bring to the Team:

• BSCE in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• EIT or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Experience with Civil 3D or MicroStation.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 USD

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
