Qualifications

• Engineer-in-Training Certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Proficiency with civil design software and drafting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist design of public infrastructure projects (roadways, highways) per DOT standards.
• Provide drafting support for plan production and project calculations.
• Prepare reports, feasibility studies, and utility evaluations.
• Create drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation, Open Roads, or similar tools.
• Coordinate with agency staff and internal teams on designs and issues.
