Job summary

More than 8 years of experience in procurement or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy for the Transportation Americas category and maintain knowledge of carrier modes (Ground, Air, Ocean).
Specialize in strategic sourcing of transportation capacities to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply.
Manage regional sourcing initiatives from demand analysis to contract implementation, including carrier negotiations via Jaggaer ASO.
Support global sourcing initiatives and projects from demand analysis to contract implementation.
Develop knowledge of local markets, category trends, suppliers and key local players.
Ensure country/sub-region requirements are addressed in corporate/ regional strategies.
Prepare, conduct and lead tenders (incl. e-sourcing).
Supplier management: database maintenance, supplier classification, new sources identification (Salesforce / Evolution).
Track and maintain data in procurement tools: suppliers, rates, spend, projects, master data.
Contribute to cooperation between countries and sourcing.
