Job summary

DHL Group is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead the Transportation Americas category and coordinate local negotiations with carriers. You will work with a global network of procurement colleagues and leverage digital tooling to optimize supplier selection and contract outcomes.

The role requires deep experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration across regions, with a strong focus on cost, quality and continuity of supply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
• More than 8 years of procurement related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy for the Transportation Americas category.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of carrier modes (Ground, Air, Ocean).
• Manage regional sourcing initiatives and lead carrier negotiations via Jaggaer's ASO.
• Support global sourcing initiatives from analysis to contract implementation.
• Develop knowledge of local markets, suppliers and key players.
• Ensure country/ sub-region requirements are addressed in strategies.
• Prepare and conduct tenders (incl. e-sourcing).
• Maintain data in procurement tools: suppliers, rates, spend, projects, master data.
• Foster cooperation between countries and sourcing teams.
