Job summary

STV, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking an experienced CAD Technician/Modeler to support major highway and bridge infrastructure projects.

You will create high-quality drawings and 3D models using Bentley and BIM technologies, collaborating with engineers, designers, and project teams to meet client standards. Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting & Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of transportation drafting and/or modeling experience.
• Strong experience with MicroStation, Bentley modeling tools, Revit, CAD/BIM standards and workflows, plan/detail/presentation development.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in project-specific CAD/BIM environments and software workspaces.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop construction drawings and 3D models using established CAD/BIM standards and client requirements.
• Prepare transportation design deliverables, including plans, profiles, sections, details, and exhibits.
• Coordinate CAD and BIM information with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Identify and resolve drawing and modeling issues with minimal supervision.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting project schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, workflows, and software environments.
• Support the production of accurate and high-quality project documentation.
