Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced CAD Technician / Modeler to join our New Jersey transportation team. You will create high-quality drawings and 3D models using Bentley and BIM technologies, coordinating with engineers, designers, and project teams to meet client standards and project requirements.

This role emphasizes attention to detail and the ability to handle complex transportation projects, contributing to critical public infrastructure in the region.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of transportation drafting/modeling experience.
• Proficient with MicroStation, Bentley tools, and Revit.
• Knowledge of CAD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create construction drawings and 3D models per standards.
• Prepare transportation design deliverables (plans, profiles, sections).
• Coordinate CAD/BIM information with project teams.
• Resolve drawing and modeling issues with minimal supervision.
• Manage multiple assignments to meet schedules.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and software environments.
