Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced CAD Technician / Modeler to join our New Jersey transportation team. You will create high-quality drawings and 3D models using Bentley BIM tools and MicroStation, collaborating with engineers and designers to meet client standards and project requirements.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in drafting or related field and at least 5 years of transportation drafting/modeling experience, with strong CAD/BIM workflows and plan/detail development; experience

Qualifications

Associate degree in Drafting & Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 5 years of transportation drafting and/or modeling experience.
Strong experience with MicroStation, Bentley modeling tools, Revit, CAD/BIM standards/workflows, and plan/detail/presentation development.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Create and develop construction drawings and 3D models using established CAD/BIM standards and client requirements.
Prepare transportation design deliverables, including plans, profiles, sections, details, and exhibits.
Coordinate CAD and BIM information with multidisciplinary project teams.
Identify and resolve drawing and modeling issues with minimal supervision.
Manage multiple assignments while meeting project schedules and deadlines.
Ensure compliance with client standards, workflows, and software environments.
Support the production of accurate and high-quality project documentation.
