Volunteers of America Northern Rockies is seeking a Client Transportation Driver / Recovery Health Technician to transport patients for appointments and support treatment services at Life House in Sheridan, WY. The role combines transportation duties with on-site recovery health tasks in a residential facility.
Responsibilities include coordinating with counselors, monitoring patient well‑being, logging activities, and delivering psycho-educational groups.

The Client Transportation Driver transports patients to appointments outside the VOANR facility. When not performing transportation duties, this position performs the duties of Recovery Health Technician in a residential facility that provides treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
This job operates in both a transport vehicle and a residential treatment facility environment.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. While performing transportation duties, this position will spend long periods sitting while operating the vehicle. While performing Recovery Health Technician duties, this position must be mobile throughout the facility, as well as work on a computer for periods.
This is a full-time or part-time status dependent on the position hired for in a 24/7 facility. Days and hours of work vary according to the assigned shift.
Significant local and distance travel is expected for this position when performing transportation duties.
