The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is seeking a Transportation Engineer 3-Engineering to join the Asset Management team in Newington, CT. You will oversee asset management plans and coordinate across engineering divisions to improve asset conditions and data sharing.

Role involves leading asset management for highway assets, supporting reporting, and assisting with emergency relief and CFR evaluations. Hybrid work and full-time scheduling may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3 years of transportation engineering experience.
• One year of general experience must be at working level in transportation engineering.
• PE or EIT licensure can substitute for degree/experience as described.

Responsabilités

• Serve as Transportation Asset Management liaison for highway assets (bridges, pavements, signals, signs, and related components).
• Manage inventory, condition, lifecycle and financial planning for assets within the Asset Management Plan.
• Provide monthly and annual updates on asset, project, and finance reports.
• Monitor capital program placeholders and assess impacts on asset performance metrics.
• Assist with Emergency Relief funds and CFR Part 667 evaluation reports regarding assets affected by disasters.
