Job summary

Pet Meadow in Richmond, VA is seeking a Transportation and Client Services Specialist to serve as the main link between veterinary hospitals, pet families, and our aftercare teams. This role blends safe transportation with professional client service, relationship management, and strict chain-of-custody standards.

It is not a traditional driving job, and you will act as an ambassador for the Pet Meadow brand in the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and transport pets safely and respectfully.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in customer service, veterinary, healthcare, hospitality, funeral service, or transportation preferred.
• Ability to work independently with accountability and professionalism.
• Passion for serving others during meaningful moments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles along established service routes.
• Perform the respectful transfer and transportation of pets entrusted to our care.
• Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation and identification procedures.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with veterinary hospitals and clinic teams.
• Communicate professionally with clients, hospital personnel, and internal teams.
• Identify and elevate service concerns, operational issues, and client opportunities.
• Uphold company appearance, safety, and service standards at all times.
• Represent Pet Meadow with compassion, professionalism, and integrity.

This position combines safe and reliable transportation responsibilities with professional client service, relationship management, and chain-of-custody excellence.

This is not a traditional driving position. Our Transportation and Client Services Specialists are trusted partners to veterinary professionals and ambassadors of the Pet Meadow brand in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles along established service routes.
• Perform the respectful transfer and transportation of pets entrusted to our care.

The pay range for this role is:

20 - 20 USD per hour (Richmond, Virginia)
