Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated in Hunt Valley, Maryland, seeks a Business Analyst II - Transportation in a hybrid (50/50) capacity. You will manage the transportation plan for US distribution centers and facilities to balance service and cost, covering TL, LTL, intermodal and package modes.

The role requires 5–7 years in transportation/logistics, strong knowledge of transport policies, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Distribution, Logistics or Transportation, or 6 years of relevant experience.
• 5–7 years experience in Transportation, Distribution, Materials Management, Purchasing or Logistics.
• Knowledge of transportation strategies, regulations and policies.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Ability to coordinate across functions and coach team members.

Responsibilities

• Execute transportation plan for US centers to maximize service and cost efficiency.
• Utilize systems to develop transportation solutions and train others in requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and small projects within planning region.
• Produce monthly planning region reports based on metrics.
• Coordinate inbound planning, cross-functional meetings, and supplier onboarding.
