Job summary

McKesson is seeking a highly analytical Senior Transportation Business Analyst to optimize transportation costs, manage carrier performance, and automate reporting across our 3PL operations. You will partner with Operations, Finance, and client services to translate complex logistics data into actionable insights that improve service and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Typically 7+ years of experience in transportation analytics, logistics analytics, or related roles.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and SQL with strong analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation cost optimization opportunities and optimize mode/service level selections.
• Reconcile carrier invoices with contracts and client billing records; identify billing discrepancies.
• Design, maintain carrier scorecards and KPI reporting; monitor on-time delivery and cost performance.
• Build transportation cost models and scenario analyses to support pricing decisions and cost-to-serve.
• Develop dashboards and automated reporting to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Client Services, and providers to address business challenges.
