Job summary

McKesson is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Senior Transportation Business Analyst to support transportation cost optimization, carrier performance management, freight billing integrity, and reporting automation across our 3PL operations.

This role partners with Operations, Finance, Client Services, and carrier partners to transform complex logistics data into actionable insights that drive efficiency and better client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Analytics, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7+ years of experience in transportation analytics, logistics analytics, freight operations, supply chain analytics, or related roles.
• Strong Excel, Power BI, and SQL skills.
• Experience with freight auditing, transportation billing reconciliation, carrier invoicing, or accessorial analysis.
• Knowledge of transportation modes including Parcel, LTL, FTL, and Dedicated Fleet.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze shipment profiles to identify transportation modes, service levels, and carrier selections.
• Reconcile carrier invoices against contracted rates, shipment data, and client billing records.
• Design, maintain, and enhance carrier scorecards and transportation KPI reporting.
• Build transportation cost models, lane analyses, and scenario comparisons for pricing and cost-to-serve.
• Develop dashboards and automated reporting solutions using Power BI and related tools.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Client Services, Quality, and transportation providers to address business challenges.
