Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Transportation Aide in Tennessee to assist in moving residents to appointments and activities and to support on-floor duties. The ideal candidate will handle patient transports, confirm appointments, and inform families of arrangements while maintaining daily documentation.

This role emphasizes customer service and the ability to work under pressure, with a pathway to CNA certification if not already qualified.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistants Certification preferred, or willingness to complete a state-approved CNA program and become a Nursing Assistant (CNA) within six months of hire.
• CPR certification is required or active CPR certification at hire.
• Valid State Driver’s License with clean record and no more than 3 incidents.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments and events as needed.
• Confirm doctors’ appointments for residents and notify families of arrangements.
• Monitor daily documentation and filing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
