Job summary

Fort Wayne Community Schools Transportation in Fort Wayne, Indiana seeks a 7hr Bus Assistant to help load/unload students, monitor behavior, and support safe daily transportation.

You will work part-time with a focus on assisting students with special needs per IEP/BIP, maintain records, and follow directions from the Transportation Supervisor and driver. Candidates need a High School Diploma and the ability to meet physical requirements.

• Address special needs per each student’s Individual Educational Plan (IEP) and Behavioral Intervention Plan (BIP).
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet specific needs of the school or unit.

PURPOSE

Assist with student management and providing safe transportation for students on assigned buses as directed by the Transportation Supervisor and the bus driver.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
