Essential Functions

The primary responsibilities include transporting residents, assisting disabled passengers, supporting medical deliveries, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness. The role involves interaction with residents, families, and staff, ensuring safety and confidentiality, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a state-certified nursing assistant certificate and be a licensed S.T.N.A.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record, and be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds and assist residents as needed.
• Ability to work harmoniously with others and handle stressful situations tactfully.

Working Conditions

Includes exposure to various physical and environmental conditions, potential for injury, and the need for flexibility in scheduling.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a medical and physical exam.
• Ability to relate to and work with the elderly, disabled, and emotionally upset residents.
