Job summary

Northeast Arc is seeking a Transportation Dispatcher to support the daily operations of the Transportation Department within the Community Employment Services (CES). You will coordinate schedules, driver assignments, routes, and compliance to deliver safe, reliable transportation services for individuals served.

The Dispatcher ensures adherence to Northeast Arc policies and DDS requirements while coordinating with staff, families, and individuals served.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts driver's license and clean driving record.
• CORI background check and other DDS/Northeast Arc screenings.
• RMV driving record check conducted periodically.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Van driving experience and vehicle mechanical knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist Transportation Director with TD Drivers/Monitors and CES staff training.
• Ensure Drivers/Monitors maintain licenses and DDS certifications.
• Maintain and adjust daily schedules and route assignments.
• Report concerns, incidents, accidents, and workers' comp events.
• Communicate with staff, individuals served, families, and support teams.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety requirements.
• Provide Driver/Monitor coverage as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
