Job summary

Thermo King Midwest is seeking a Technician to diagnose and repair transport refrigeration units on-site. You will gain hands-on experience across refrigeration, HVAC, electrical and diesel systems, with opportunities for ongoing training and career growth.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, EPA and 609 certifications are preferred, and a valid driver's license. Competitive pay with overtime and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree or certification is a plus.
• 1–2 years’ experience with transport refrigeration or HVAC.
• EPA 608 Universal or Type 1 and 2 certification.
• EPA 609 certification.
• Must supply own tools.
• Able to work overtime and on-call.
• Ability to operate diagnostic computers.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units.
• Diagnose, repair, adjust and modify components.
• Keep paperwork updated and submitted upon completion.
