Job summary

Peak Industrial Company is seeking a dedicated technician with experience in transport refrigeration repair to join our Idaho Falls team.

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Thermo King, Carrier and other equipment for trucks, trailers and containers, diagnose issues, document work, and participate in an on‑call rotation while growing your expertise. We offer a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Familiar with Thermo King, Carrier, and other transport refrigeration equipment.
• Certified to use refrigerants, R134a, R404, R410, and others as needed.
• Must have good verbal and written communications skills.
• Willing to be on emergency after-hours on-call rotation.
• May need to use a laptop to diagnose or reference repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment for trucks, trailers and containers with little supervision.
• Diagnose and repair/replace compressors, coils, electrical components, etc.
• Use diagnostic equipment to flash controller, diagnose alarms, implement repairs, etc.
• Use repair orders to record all work performed and submit daily.
• Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow procedures to track work and complete forms.
• Ensure timely completion of work per regulations and management instructions.
