Job summary

Thermo King of Dallas is hiring a Refrigeration Technician II in Fort Worth, TX to perform preventive maintenance on Transport Refrigeration equipment, install and service Thermo King units, and diagnose electrical issues.

The role requires basic computer skills, TK certification (or in-process), and the ability to work overtime with a mechanical/tech background. Tools such as DVOM and refrigeration gauges are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• One year of experience and TK certified or in the process of TK certification.
• Mechanical background and trade school or related education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance on trailers, trucks, APU’s.
• Basic refrigeration skills & diagnosis: leak check, recovery, evacuation & charging.
• Replace components such as belts, hoses, batteries, starters, and alternators.
• Basic electrical skills & diagnosis using DVOM and related tools.
• Battery maintenance & diagnosis.
• Install/remove Thermo King refrigeration units.
• Use computer to apply and complete work orders and read docs/schematics.
