Job summary

You will ensure compliance with state and federal rules while coordinating with drivers and shop staff. The position emphasizes reliability, communication, and safety in daily operations.

The role requires handling multiple tasks, maintaining schedules, and supporting operations with a proactive, detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a dynamic dispatch environment preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid commercial driver’s license with a passenger endorsement or willingness to obtain one.
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record, criminal history record and child abuse history record.
• Maintain valid driver’s license, physical exam certifications
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers in accordance with contract requirements and laws.
• Coordinate scheduling of trips from inception to completion.
• Monitor daily driver radio communications and provide updates.
• Prepare and review driver schedules and timesheets.
• Ensure on-time performance and respond to driver emergencies.
• Work with Operations Manager to meet division objectives.
